Your summer freshness 2020 with a few new “rules of the game”
Summer, sun, mountains and lakes: Now it won’t take long anymore until we can reopen our beautiful Kinderhotel for you. It will happen on the 10th of June, on the long weekend around Corpus Christi. The preparations are already in full swing…
On the 10th of June, we will be reopening our Kinderhotel. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our summer holidays in 2020! For the reopening to be a full success, we are currently busy preparing everything for you. And because in these times not only hand washing and disinfecting, but also distancing is part of the new etiquette, we all have to stick to a few new “rules of the game”.
We ask you to heed and follow these new rules. It will be a bit different than before, but we are sure that you will still spend a great family holiday with us.
All news will come to you in advance by e-mail.
Before you arrive, you will receive an e-mail from us with the most important innovations, so that you know about all the changes right from the start. In order to be able to break down all the details, we are still waiting for the legal regulations of our federal government. As soon as we get them, we will give the final touches to our hotel’s internal processes and send you our detailed “rules of the game” for your summer holiday 2020.
Keeping your distance is very easy with us
Keeping your distance in our Kinderhotel should be easy for you. In our Kinderhotel Ramsi we have a whole 200 m2 of space available for each one of you. Our premises are so spacious and offer so much of room for everyone that you can almost always stay entirely separate from others. However, both indoors and outdoors, we ask you to maintain a safety distance of 1 meter to all guests and staff. At more frequented points such as the reception, the bar, the coffee machine, etc., we have put up markers to make it easier for you to keep your distance.
Small groups with 5 to 6 children in the children’s club only with advance booking
This year, we have our own rules for childcare – it is only accessible with advance booking. Our childminders will wear a transparent visor and take care of the young Ramsi guests in small groups (5 to 6 children). In order to separate the group activities spatially, we use the most diverse places on our huge hotel premises – indoors and outdoors.
Parts of the Alpine Spa become a reservable Private Spa
You will be able to book individual areas of our Alpine Spa for yourselves only from 10 June. We are currently developing new packages for this purpose. A romantic package for mum and dad with 1 hour private spa (use of the Finnish cottage sauna and relaxation room, 1 piccolo bottle of prosecco and fresh strawberries) will definitely be available. But there is much more to come. Expect to be surprised!
Plenty of space in our three restaurants, Ramsis “fine window” and even more table service
In our three restaurants we have changed a lot and we think that it looks very nice. As usual, you will have your reserved family table where you can enjoy all the delicacies from our kitchen from breakfast to dinner. You can pick up some delicacies at Ramsi’s new “fine window” (a display case filled with all sorts of delicious things, with service). We will simply serve you more specialties from our Alpine-Adriatic cuisine right at the table.
Our hygiene standards are now even higher
In terms of hygiene, our Kinderhotel Ramsi has been at the forefront ever since. In order to be able to implement the currently increased requirements for summer freshness in 2020 in the best possible way right from the start, we and our employees have participated in special cleaning and hygiene workshops and restructured our processes. Under the expert guidance of housekeeping expert Maria Radinger and with the sophisticated top-down system of the company hollu, we guarantee you the highest level of safety and hygiene. It goes without saying that we all wash and disinfect our hands thoroughly, wear face masks or visors and often gloves.
In addition, we have set up dispensers with disinfectants in several locations throughout the hotel, so that you can disinfect your hands multiple times during the day. Your personal disinfectants and mouth-nose protectors (disposable face masks) will also be waiting for you in every room or suite.
Employees from the region
We are very happy that our employees are all from the region. Our district Hermagor is one of the safest districts in Austria with a total of only five Corona infections (as of 4 May 2020). This is probably also due to the fact that we are so idyllically located between the mountains.
Our staff will welcome you with a beaming smile for the 2020 summer holiday – even if the obligatory face masks may not allow you see it in everyone. But we find: Smiling eyes are also something beautiful, too.
