Funny play and craft tips
for home
Look what our Ramsi Imp has come up with for you again! Just grab some water colours and colour pencils, paper, wool and a few other simple utensils and bring a bit of variety into your everyday life with our play and craft tips.
You need: 1 sheet of paper, water colours and 1 paintbrush, colour or felt pencils
Bring spring into your home and make a funny finger painting with bees, beetles, Easter bunnies, colourful roosters or other pretty creatures. To do this, brush the fingers with paint and then press them on the paper. Draw around the fingerprints to complete the finger painting.
You need: 1 sheet of paper, wool residues in different colours, adhesive, colour or felt pencils
They are soooo fluffy and they look great – the thread pictures that you can easily make yourself with leftover yarn or Mum’s sock yarn. Simply apply the glue, stick the colourful thread pieces on, draw a bit around it and your fluffy artwork is perfect.
You need: 1 pot or 1 hat and any card game
Which of you is the most skilful card thrower? You can find out with this fun pot or hat game. Simply place the pot (or hat) on the floor with the opening upwards. Then sit down in a circle keeping about three steps distance around the pot (or hat). One player after another may now try to throw the cards of the card game individually into the pot (or hat). Whoever hits best has won.
You need: eight equal glasses, tap water, some sugar, some salt, some lemon juice, one straw per player, one (stop) watch
First, fill the eight glasses equally high with tap water. Then a spoonful of sugar comes into two glasses. In the next two glasses comes a spoonful of salt. In the next two glasses a splash of lemon juice. In the remaining two glasses, the water remains pure. Then “mix” the glasses by moving them around vigorously. Let the first player pick one glass after the other and try the contents carefully with his straw. He needs to find out as quickly as possible which two glasses belong together based on the taste. Stop the time. After that, the glasses are remixed and it’s the next player’s turn. The fastest player wins.
You need: a colour cube, colour pencils and an old white bed sheet (alternatively a paper tablecloth or a kitchen towel)
Before the actual game starts, use the colours red, blue, yellow and green to paint quite a lot of flowers (each one-coloured) on the bed sheet. Then place the bed sheet on the table and sit around. The youngest children are allowed to sit on mum’s or dad’s lap. Then roll the dice in turns. Whoever rolls red points to a red flower, who rolls blue points to a blue flower and so on. If you roll white, you can roll again. If you roll black, you have to suspend one round. As a game variant, you can also place smarties on your self-painted flower meadow. If you roll the right colour with the dice, you can simply snatch away one of the delicious sweets – and eat it!
