FROM LICKING ICE CREAM ON SUNBEDS TO STAR GAZING: FOLLOW US TO RAMSI’S FAVOURITE PLACES
Oh yes! Our Ramsi Imp has an unbelievable number of favourite places here at our Kinderhotel. And because we have just such great, early summer weather, we will now take you to these wonderful places – which you can visit between lounging lazily on your family’s sunbeds and star gazing at night.
Well then: Let’s go!
Casual family sunbeds in the hotel gardens
Really casual and particularly cosy favourite places are our family sunbeds in the hotel gardens. You can swivel them so beautifully and turn towards the sun. From here you also have a fantastic view across the Carnic Alps. It’s really a treat.
Our Ramsi Imp likes this view very much. Sometimes he just lies there with his arms crossed behind his head and looks up at the mountains. Nearby is also the water & sand & mud pit and it is great fun to watch the children play there.

You will have the same magnificent view of the mountains from our panoramic terrace. Here we have set up cosy relaxation loungers for you, from which you can see our entire sunny plateau.
And when our headwaiter Franz drives past on the new Ramsi mobile, he will bring you the most wonderful refreshments. From cakes and ice creams to cool fruit juices and sparkling water to the Aperol Spritz and the good local Wimitz beer, he has it all. Delicious!
By the way, good old Franz will be touring the entire hotel grounds with the Ramsi mobile. Finally, guests also want to be provided with fine delicacies at the outdoor pool and on the hotel lawn.
Star gazing at night with shooting stars
Let us conclude today’s tour of favourite places with a very special highlight, the nightly star gazing in the hotel gardens. After dinner, our Ramsi Imp likes to grab a warm blanket and walk down the hotel gardens a few steps. There he lies down on a sunbed and enjoys the starry sky.
You must know that the stars shine even more beautifully here than elsewhere, because there is very little flare light here at night. If the sparkle of the stars alone is not enough for you and you want to know more about the celestial bodies and constellations, get one of the many smartphone apps (e.g. Star Walk 2 or Star Walk Kids).
This is how your garden excursion becomes a star walk. In summer – as in the second half of July and in the first half of August – the Perseids pass by and provide a night sky full of shooting stars. Most of them are expected to be visible on the 12th of August.
