Arrival at our Kinderhotel Ramsi on the sunny south side of the Alps

Arrive well and safely. Our Kinderhotel Ramsi is located in the south of Austria, not far from the town of Hermagor. To be more precise, you will find us in the beautiful Carinthian Gailtal Valley. The best way to get here is by car and train. The nearest airports are in Klagenfurt and Ljubljana.

Information for motorists

Free parking is available directly at our Kinderhotel.
Please remember that you need a vignette for the Austrian motorways.

Information for rail travellers

Your destination is Hermagor station.

If you need a rental car for your holiday, please let us know early so that we can arrange it.
Station transfers: If you arrive by train, we will be happy to pick you up from Hermagor station for free and we will take you back. Ideally, please let us know one week before your arrival.

If you need a rental car for your holiday, please let us know early so that we can arrange it.
Airport transfers: We are happy to pick you up from the airport or bring you back. The drive to Klagenfurt Airport is 60 min, while Ljubljana/Brnik Airport is 75 min from the Kinderhotel Ramsi. The transfers must be pre-ordered in writing at least 1 week before your arrival (info@kinderhotel ramsi.at). You will receive details of the exact itinerary of the transfer one day before arrival. Transfer costs: for 1-3 persons € 150.00 per trip, for each additional person € 50.00 per trip.
