This pleasure remains! This is how Alpe-Adria culinary goes with Ramsi

On Saturdays our guests are welcomed with typical Carinthian specialities. Regional ham and bacon variations await you at the buffet with “Liptauer”, minced meat and sour vegetables as cold appetizers. We continue with a tasty, strong beef soup with traditional ingredients such as pancake slices or semolina dumplings.

The rich selection of main courses makes the decision difficult. What would you choose? Slices of roast beef from the Alpine ox or a crusty roast beef from the country pig or rather a light rice pan with chicken or salmon and seafood?

Every day there is also a meatless, vegetarian dish, like our popular Spätzle pan with alpine cheese or spinach dumplings in mushroom ragout. As a sweet finish dessert lovers will find real Austrian delicacies: “Schnupfnudeln” with apple sauce or a strudel variation.

Once you have arrived, we invite you to enjoy a “la dolce Vita” to the fullest and take you on a pleasure trip through our “tri-border-triangle”: from smoked meat carpaccio, to traditional Carinthian “Kasnudel” noodles or Carinthian Lax’n (trout) roasted whole, grilled vegetables with Grana Padano to cherry tiramisu.

Our evening menu will surprise you throughout the holiday season with unusual compositions of Alpine-Adriatic cuisine! Whether for a short holiday or a longer family holiday – with us it’s all about eating and drinking to your heart’s content!

The unique enjoyment of our Italian evening is a highlight. After an eventful day of holiday, families can look forward to a lovingly built Mediterranean starter buffet with prosciutto, salami and Italian cheeses. We continue with a clear fish soup with alpine fish or a typical minestrone “rosso” with mussel noodles and parmesan.

The fact that Austrian cuisine can be perfectly combined with Italian cuisine is shown by the boiled fillet of veal on garlic tramezzini with salsa verde and grilled paprika and pecorino. For dessert you can expect a light Limoncello Creme brûlée with Amarettini and local raspberries.

When Grandpa-Ramsi successfully returns from mushroom hunting in the forest and supplies the Ramsi kitchen with local chanterelles or porcini mushrooms, our evening menu can also be varied and adapted quickly depending on the season.

In spring asparagus dishes, in autumn especially delicious dishes with pumpkin from grandma Ramsi’s garden or hearty vension dishes – pleasure lovers (whether small or large) get their money’s worth with Ramsi. It tastes especially good when you enjoy a wonderful view of the Carnic Alps on Ramsi’s panoramic terrace.
