For those who don’t like only splashing around during their holidays and who want to stay active, the Kinderhotel Ramsi offers a suitable sports programme. While the kids are busy in the children’s club, the parents have time to finally do something good for themselves. In addition to strength and endurance training in the sports hall, we also offer training in the water, which has a lot of positive effects on the whole body. But we let our aquafitness trainer Christiane tell you about it and afterwards there are 5 good reasons why you should definitely join Aqua Fitness.

Why and how did you become an aqua fitness trainer?
I was inspired and infected with the enthusiasm for this sport by my predecessor. When I got the chance to take over Aqua Fitness, I took a 2-day course in Germany. I already had my basic knowledge in sports training from my training as a fitness and sports trainer (ASKÖ), with whose knowledge in theory and practice I also do strength and endurance training here in our Kinderhotel Ramsi.
What awaits our guests at Aqua Fitness?
Sport & fun at H2O! Exercising in the water is simply fun and you get a whole body workout: strength, endurance, coordination, balance – all components of Aqua Fitness. I design the training varied with motor basic gaits (running, jumping, knee lifting and arm movements) and build in further elements of kickboxing, interval training, abdominal muscle training and gymnastics. In addition to fast sharing and fun ball games, a relaxation part is also planned at the end.
Who can participate?
In principle, anyone can participate provided they are healthy and consider their own needs. Training in water is very easy on the joints. Joints, ligaments and the spine are relieved. Everyone can participate at their own pace. Pregnant women who were already active before pregnancy can also take part. Due to the depth of the pool, everyone over the age of 12 can participate.
What do you need?
Bathing clothes, openness for new things and motivation for sport. I’m looking forward to really stepping on the gas with you! ????

1. Modern gymnastic elements

Anyone who believes that water gymnastics is only for athletes or older people is mistaken. The Aqua Fitness training contains aerobic and Pilates elements, which are particularly demanding due to the water resistance.

Aqua Fitness protects your tendons, ligaments and joints. The training is ideal for the areas construction, legs, bottom and torso. The spine and hips are relieved. There is also a low risk of injury.

Regardless of the weather – our new, modern panorama indoor swimming pool offers a pleasant feel-good atmosphere at all times and, with its large sliding glass elements, a magnificent view of the Carnic Alps.
