Many wonder when it is the best time for children to learn to swim. At what age is a swimming course recommended? “Learning a proper breaststroke technique as a basis is recommended from the age of four. Small children learn particularly quickly. It is also advisable to introduce the children to the feeling in the water again and again, for example during baby swimming.

“We gained our knowledge for baby swimming and the children’s swimming courses through the swimming trainer education of the Freds Swim Academy“, describe our swimming trainer Angelika and Johanna. “Experience with children and own enthusiasm for swimming was a prerequisite”, which the two experienced children’s entertainers naturally bring with them.

The special thing about Fred’s Swim Academy is that it works with a specially designed swimming aid, the SWIMTRAINER “Classic”. “We use the three-stage swimming learning system in the Ramsi Children’s Hotel for age-appropriate support.

With the swimming trainer the children have a feeling of safety and already the correct swimming position. This will introduce them step by step to the correct breaststroke technique. The swimming aid is gradually reduced for a gliding transition to free swimming,” Angelika explains.

Babyswimming from 4 months on

For babies the SWIMTRAINER is also used, which is available as an ideal swimming aid for different age groups. “The babies are carefully introduced to baby swimming with their parents. This is not only a wonderful experience for the little ones – the enthusiasm is also quickly transferred to the parents”, Johanna notes.

“We offer baby swimming three times a week. Swimming trainers, swimming nappies, towels are provided.”

What is baby swimming good for? “There are many reasons! Begun with the fear-free habituation to the world of water and the meaningful swimming assistance, over the positive influence on the physical development and those of the senses, up to the better communication with the reference person for an ideal learning process, explains Johanna.
